Pope Tawadros II gave the opening address, speaking of the hopes and aspirations held on the seminary. Participating in the conference are Bishop Tadros of Port Said, Bishop Morqos of Shubral-Kheima, Bishop Demetrius of Mallawi, Bishop Thomas of Qousiya, Bishop Daoud of Mansoura, and Bishop-General Karas of Mehalla al-Kubra.
