Donate and pray for Mosul’s Christians

The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Centre has announced the allocation of a bank account to receive donations for the aid of the Christians of Musol who have suffered persecution and displacement at the hands of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Islamist militias.
Account number 950496 with Blom Bank Egypt, under the name of the Chaldean Catholic bishop in Egypt, swift code: MRBAEGCX019, accepts donations in Egyptians Pounds, US Dollars and Euros.
Father Rafic Greiche, spokesperson of the Catholic Church in Egypt, declared that in response to Poe Francis’s call for prayer for Mosul’s Christians, the Council of Catholic Bishops and Patriarchs is organising a vigil tonight, Monday 18 August, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Fatima in Heliopolis, Cairo. The al-Khabar al-Sar and Ammanoel Choirs will be participating in tonight’s prayers.
The last few days have seen several other vigils held by various churches in Egypt to pray for Iraq’s Christians.
