The Council for Egypt’s Churches has issued a statement in which it denounced the attack against the Coptic church in Benghazi, Libya; and and the torture and murder of the 45-year-old Egyptian Ezzat Hakim Atallah

The Council for Egypt’s Churches has issued a statement in which it denounced the attack against the Coptic church in Benghazi, Libya; and and the torture and murder of the 45-year-old Egyptian Ezzat Hakim Atallah.
The council demanded quick investigations into the two incidents, and stressed that even though it had nothing to do with politics it would, in its capacity as an authentic Egyptian body, interacts with all national issues.
