A meeting between Beni Sweif Governor Sherif Habib and a delegation from the Korean Egyptian Development Association (KEDA) discussed ways of boosting Korean investment in the governorate, as well as cooperation in basic services, notably drinking water and sanitation.
The Middle East News Agency MENA mentioned that an official statement said the meeting touched on the possibility of promoting a project to establish an agricultural industrial city for the production of medicine and cosmetics and making good use of South Korean experience in this domain. In addition, the prospect for providing design and technical support sewage treatment units that can provide larger capacity to solve the sewage problem in the governorate was reviewed.
Governor Habib also welcomed all possible support from KEDA for industries based on medicinal and aromatic plants.
