Minya art students paint wall for children with cancer

Last week, students of Minya University’s Faculty of Art Education completed painting the walls of the Children Cancer Hospital in Cairo, famous as Hospital 57357. The works came in response to an the initiative launched by the hospital under the title “Dream…Draw…Paint”. The initiative aims to lessen the pain of the children by brightening their days with cheerful, colourful paintings.
Dr. Amal Mohammed Abu Zeid, Secretary of the Faculty of Art Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, Minya University, said that the students’ work carried out on the walls of the hospital embodied a panorama that reflects the services provided by the hospital.
