The cyclists taking part in the African Continental Road Championship, the biggest cycling championship in the continent, made a point of visiting the Orman Cancer Hospital in Luxor where the championship took off. They talked to the patients and doctors, spreading comfort and humour.
The championship, which started in 2005, is held annually. This year, it started at Luxor Temple on 13 February and extends till the 19th. Contestants come from 21 countries.
