The Minya Security authorities have caught three kidnappers who specialised in abducting Minya Copts. The Minya Police had earlier got wind that Khalifa Nasr, 33, his brother Dahi Nasr, 38 and Mohamed Soliman, 52, sheltered inside Khalifa Nasr’s farm in the mountains area near the town of Arab Qasr, in the district of Malawi, Minya.
Throughout the last four months, the three kidnapped four Copts for ransom: Magdy Ghattas, a seed trader of Beni Mazar; Hany Sharqawy, a pharmacist in Mallawi; Hishmat adros, an agricultural land owner in Mallawi and the child Girgis Soliman, who also lives in Mallawi. Soliman was playing with his comrades in the street when he was taken. All had been returned to their families upon the payment of the ransom.
