Ain Shams University has announced applications for 20 fellowships sponsored by UNESCO. The aim of the UNESCO programme is to enhance capacity-building and human resources development in the area of sustainable and renewable energy sources in developing countries and countries in transition. The training activities of these fellowships are tenable in specialised institutions in the Russian Federation. Instruction is in the English language.
In line with the strategy and objectives of the approved UNESCO Programme and Budget for the Fellowships Programme Section, the UNESCO Category II International Center for Sustainable Energy Development (ISEDC) in Moscow (Russian Federation) has offered twenty fellowships of four weeks duration each, from 2 to 27 October 2017. The candidates may choose to study in the fields of energy and sustainable development; ecological management of energy resources; renewable energy; or sustainable and renewable energy power generation.
The list of invited member states includes 46 states in Africa, 15 Arab states, 39 states in Asia and the Pacific, 32 states in Latin America and the Caribbean, 22 states in Europe and one associate member.
