LOGOS Leadership Programme (LLP), a programme that aims at preparing young leaders academically, ecclesiastically and spiritually according to modern academic standards, was inaugurated by Pope Tawadros II on 2 March. The young people will be trained to serve in LOGOS youth forums in various dioceses inside or outside Egypt; LOGOS youth forums have been regularly held since 2018.
The programme runs through 120 days, and includes talks by experts in leadership, interaction and commitment, in a spirit of Christian discipleship. It also features a plethora of activities and smart workshops.
Participating in LLP are 55 young Coptic men and women selected from among some 450 who applied for the programme.
The opening ceremony was attended by Anba Yulius, Bishop-General of Old Cairo Churches and the Bishopric of Ecumenical, Public, and Social Services (BLESS); Anba Pavli, Bishop-General of Montazah district in Alexandria; and a number of priests.
