To celebrate Christmas and the New Year 2022, snd give cheer to children with cancer, Shefaa al-Orman Oncology Hospital (SOH) in Egypt’s southern city of Luxor hosted a surprise visit of
Santa Claus.
Santa dropped in on children awaiting their chemo or radio therapy treatments in the hospital’s waiting rooms, presenting them with Christmas gifts, and creating an altogether joyous climate. The children were thrilled, their smiles and laughter shine their faces as they asked to take selfies or souvenir group photos with Santa.
Mahmoud Fouad, Executive-Director of the SOH, said that the hospital was keen to use every possible occasions to give happiness to the children with cancer.
SOH, Luxor, Egypt, is a non-governmental charity organisation, the fruit of cooperation between Shefaa Charity Foundation and Orman Charity Association, to provide free cancer treatment to sufferers in Upper Egypt.
