A cartoon drama series that depicts real-life stories of women who were victims of domestic violence, family issues, child marriage, cyber blackmail, and the like, will be broadcast on social media to raise awareness of women’s issues and suffering.
The series will be launched today Thursday 8 December at 8pm, by the National Council for Women (NCW). The NCW has announced that the stories come from the files of its Complaints Bureau. The Buteau works to support women on the legal and emotional levels.
The drama series carries the title “We are with you”. The episodes will highlight how the Bureau has dealt with the women’s complaints.
Through its hotline 15115, a landline, a mobile line, social media, and personal interviews, the Women’s Complaints Bureau receives complaints and inquiries, and offers legal and psychological support and assistance to women.
