The Cairo Opera House and all halls and theatres affiliated to it in Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour will now how wheelchairs available on demand for the elderly and for persons with disabilities among audiences.
The move has been implemented upon instructions by Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Ines Abdel-Dayem.
According to Cairo Opera House Director, Magdy Saber, the theatres have been equipped with accessibility features to allow the seamless use of wheelchairs.
