* No to the serious gaffe of profaning religions and sanctities, and the self-proclaimed licence to hurt the sensibilities of others. It is catastrophic that such deeds should be cloaked in so-called creativity or freedom of expression.

* No to the media rush to obtain condemnations and denouncements from the Church and from Copts to absolve themselves of any part of deriding Islam. It is not right that the national Church or the Copts should be held in virtual hostage for the simple reason that they are Christian, pending an apology from whoever committed the rogue deed.
* No to the hysterical, unbounded wrath which bred chaos, violence and destruction, in order to protest against mocking religion. This sort of anger merely served to tarnish the image of Islam and Muslims. It finally benefited no-one but those who disdained the religion.
