Have you ever thought that a simple touch of a hand can speak a thousand words, without ever needing to say a word?
Did you ever know the power of a hand’s touch?
Did you ever come across love transmitted through the simple act, such as the touch of a hand?
These are all metaphors that communicate love simply by the touch of a hand.
A sweet loving hand on the shoulder, the arm, the hand, the back, or better yet, the sweet fragrance of a warm embrace.
Feelings are transmitted through touch, whenever we are sincere about really saying the words “I love you & I truly do care about you.”
When you are in pain, when you are grieving over the loss of a carrier or a loved one, when words fail to comfort you at such time, the power of a hand’s loving touch, can transmit a multitude of meaning to relieve your pain, can ease that mountain of grief that is overwhelming you & causing you turbulence and never-ceasing torment.
A hand’s touch can solve that, a sincere one that is.
It’s a way to show compassion, love & care, without needing to say a word, when words are inappropriate to express at a certain time, and such dreadful time regrettably, does occur more frequently, as opposed to it being a rare occasion.
We all are faced throughout our lifespan, with either the loss of something or someone we love, and that’s when the power of the hand’ s touch becomes the most vital tool still left to be used as a means of comfort, gratitude, love & compassion.
It’s whenever words fail to speak, then let me show you what I genuinely mean by gently placing my hand on your shoulder, or holding your hands firmly, affirming you, telling you silently that “everything is going to be okay,” someday, one day.
Be certain you are not alone, for I am here with you, we are in this together, and me placing my hand over you, is simply to reassure you of this fact.
I’m with you, we are in this together, till the end of time, for better or for worse, in sickness or in health, till death do us “both” part, for this much we promised each other the day we made this covenant, this pact before God & the entire world.
A Hand’s Touch…
