Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs keep going on its efforts to follow up the conditions of the Egyptians who were the victim of the earthquake that occurred in southern Turkey and northern Syria.
The Ministry’s Consular Sector found out that the rescue efforts discovered the body of an Egyptian woman in the area Iskenderun in Hatay, Turkey.
The victim’s body was transferred to a hospital while the Egyptian embassy in Ankara coordinates with Turkish authorities to complete the procedures of obtaining a death certificate for the Egyptian woman and her burial.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sorrow at this painful news, and extends sincere condolences and sympathy to the victim’s family. It ensures that it is keeping up its efforts to follow on the of search and rescue procedure,” a Ministry statement read.
