The Holy Synod’s Committee for Mental Health and Anti-Addiction is organising its 13th conference from 27 to 29 November at the St Mark service centre in Khatatba, west of the Nile Delta. Under the title “Towards a society free from psychological and behavioural conflicts”, the conference aims at helping the Church’s volunteer workers who serve in the field of mental health and anti-addiction. Anba Yulius, Bishop-General of Old Cairo and the Services Bishopric will attend the conference in his capacity as head of the committee. Experts and specialists in the fields of mental health and addiction will cover several topics, including psychological balance, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, spiritual and mental illness.
