The Armenian Catholic Patriarchate in Egypt announced this morning that it is opening the doors of its Cathedral in Cairo for visitors for an exhibit of original photos to the shroud of Jesus Christ.
“The Armenian Church wishes to offer worshippers in Egypt a spiritual experience during Lent, as well as an opportunity to meditate on the sufferings endured by Christ for the sake of the redemption of humanity,” Rev. Krikor Koussa, Archbishop of the Armenian Catholic in Egypt and Sudan told Watani. He explained that the shroud of Jesus Christ is kept in Turin in Italy.
