The Coptic Orthodox Church of Holy Virgin in Amsterdam has hosted the annual performance of the choirs of the old Eastern Orthodox churches in The Netherlands.
Anba Arsani, the Coptic Orthodox Bishop of the Netherlands and Belgium attended the event together with Mor Polycarpus Augin Aydin, Metropolitan and Patriarchal Vicar for the Archdiocese of the Netherlands of the Syriac Orthodox Church.
A number of choir groups from the Coptic, Syrian, Armenian, Ethiopian, and Eritrean Churches performed, each in their own language. Attendees were delighted to listen to the time honoured spiritual vocal heritage of the various Orthodox Churches, highly applauding the performers.
