Some 60 young male and female inventors, students of the overachievers’ schools in Egypt, gathered at the famous Youth Camp in the sandy, palm-studded beach resort town of Balteem in the north Delta.
The camp was organised by the Syndicate of Inventors jointly with the Egyptian Society for Inventors. The young inventors displayed their innovative works, which were assessed by Dr Manal al-Belqassi, Dean of the Higher Institute for Technology, who appeared overjoyed with the creations of the young people. Hisham Ashraf, the scientific coordinator of the camp, said it was an excellent idea to use the summer camp premises for such a singular activity. He praised the young people’s enthusiasm and their disregard of the cold weather in order to hold their gathering.
