Are we on the verge of a global revolution against Israeli violations in Gaza reinforced by American smugness and European subservience? Owing to a gruesome collusion with American and European regimes, Israel continues to brutally crush Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and forcefully displace them without the slightest regard for international law or humanitarian essentials. Meanwhile, we see public uprisings erupting around the world to denounce the vicious Israeli attacks on Palestinians, and to call for reinstating Palestinian rights in a homeland, freedom, equity, and human rights. I list here 37 cities that have been witnessing huge demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine, chanting “From the river to the sea”, and condemning Israeli brutality and official American / European “blindness and muteness” in this regard. These cities are Amman, Berlin, Washington, Aurangabad, London, Rabat, San Francisco, Jakarta, Baghdad, Dublin, Kozhikode, Kabul, Sanaa, Karachi, Stockholm, Istanbul, Peshawar, Glasgow, Brussels, Dhaka, Sarajevo, Tehran, Madrid, New York, Bandung, Toronto, Yogyakarta, Rome, Kuala Lumpur, Brooklyn, Seoul, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Manchester, Cotabato, California and Melbourne.
These cities are the ones included in a news report I recently came across, yet the number of cities and peoples protesting Israeli brutality in streets and squares around the world is certainly on the rise. It is not only the crowds who are condemning Israeli brutality; politicians, parliamentarians and officials around the world are also making speeches in international forums, meetings, and seminars rejecting, protesting and condemning what Israel is doing in the Gaza Strip with the blessings of the US and Europe. But this is a file in its own right that I am currently compiling and will present in an upcoming article once I am done with presenting what Jewish people have to say about the conflict.
A number of Jewish historians and politicians have recognised that within years the Arabs and Muslims in Israel will outnumber the Jews who will then be a minority in the land. This means they will either be persecuted or killed, and the lucky ones will be those who can escape to the US or Europe.
Meir Dagan, former Mossad Chief said: “The Zionist Dream is in danger, whereas Roni Daniel, Israeli political analyst who died in 2021 told Israeli TV that he wasn’t sure he wanted his kids to remain in Israel.
In his autobiography released in 2014, Israeli journalist Yaron London wrote: “I am getting prepared to talk to my grandson and tell him that the chance of our survival in this country is not more than 50 per cent. To those who get angry with me, I say that 50 per cent is a good estimation because the issue is much graver than you think”.
Carmi Gillon, Former Director of the Israeli Internal Security Service said: “The continuation of extreme policies against the Aqsa Mosque will result in the War of Gog and Magog against the Jews and that will end up in Israel’s destruction.”
For his part, Efraim Halevy, former Mossad Director, told Fathom: “There is no policy, we are on the edge of a volcano”.
Israeli media has carried opinions that insist that the most dangerous file facing Israel is not that of Netanyahu’s corruption, but rather that of Israel’s ruin.
Finally, an image circulating on Israeli social media sites has shown Prime Minister Netanyahu placing his hands on the Wailing Wall; the comment quoted the Torah verse Isaiah 1:15, “When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood”.
