The Centre for Training Employees and Developing their Skills in Minya recently organised a training course on leadership skills and managing personnel for managers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning Monitoring and Administrative Reform and the Ministry of Local Development. The course came within the framework of the European Union financed project ‘Support to Public Administration Reform and Local Development in Egypt’.
According to Reda Hafez, head of the Centre for Training Employees and Developing their Skills, the course aims at developing the skills of the employees, especially those involved with the sectors that provide direct service to the public, in order to attain international standards in customer service, and accordingly to achieve customer satisfaction.
The Support to Public Administration Reform and Local Development is a three-year project launched in April 2015 in consortium with the French École Nationale d’Administration. It aims at assisting the Egyptian government in its efforts to develop and apply good governance principles, which should then reflect in improved services to the Egyptian public, and broader public engagement at local levels.
