Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Cairo, Saleh Habimana, has paid a visit to the Nile Museum in Aswan where he was joyfully received by Hisham Farghali, the museum manager.
Mr Farghali said that the ambassador’s visit focused on the possibility of Rwanda’s contribution to the museum collection which seeks to highlight the cultures of the various Nile Basin countries. A number of these countries have already donated to the museum displays that showcase their natural characteristics and their people’s culture, prominent among them is Sudan.
“This is the fourth visit by the Rwandan ambassador to the museum, which speaks of the significance of museum in bonding Egypt with the Nile Basin countries,” Mr Farghali said.
The latest addition to the museum collection, according to Mr Farghali, has been a sea turtle and a small Nile crocodile.
