Egypt’s Ministry of Health has sent an aid package of medical supplies to Chad. The package included 15 dialysis machines and a special unit for water treatment.
The grant was received in N’Djamena by Egypt’s Ambassador to Chad Osama al-Hady, Chad’s Minister of Public Health, and Chadian presidential advisor for health affairs, in addition to representatives of N’Djamena Central Hospital.
The minister thanked Egypt for what he described as an important gift, pointing out the dire need of Chadian hospitals of dialysis machines in light of growing number of patients suffering from kidney diseases.
Meanwhile, Hady asserted Egypt’s keenness on cooperating with Chad in different domains, especially in the health sector.
